La Cooperativa Sociale Promozione 80 ormai è una realtà affermata ad Oppido Lucano. Opera nel sociale da circa 30 anni. Essa nasce nel novembre 1979 e da allora è stata sempre attiva svolgendo le sue attività nei servizi domiciliari agli anziani, agli handicappati e a favore dei minori. I l servizio di assistenza domiciliare elderly , especially in the town of Lucan Oppido, is a consolidated reality, a point of reference for the elderly that is in need of immediate and loneliness. Since 2006, overall view of implementation of the Social Assistance Plan - Setting Basento, rigged and runs a day care center . It is a service that is configured as a meeting space, reception and
socialization, in which the child can grow up to relate to peers and adult figures, finding incentives and opportunities for a balanced development. The Day Centre is located in the city of Oppido Lucan, in a building owned by the municipality obtained a concession by the Cooperative. This building has been completely renovated and adapted to the needs of the service at the expense of the Cooperative Promotion '80 ".
The complexity of the needs involves la necessità di risposte sempre più mirate
e diversificate per aiutare ed accompagnare il minore (e/o la sua famiglia) ad integrarsi in modo armonico nel contesto di vita abituale, per promuovere un uso adeguato delle risorse offerte dal territorio, per favorire la socializzazione ed una gestione adeguata del tempo libero dei bambini e dei ragazzi. In quest'ottica di sviluppo sociale la Cooperativa coordina e gestisce il servizio di assistenza domiciliare ai minori e alle loro famiglie.

The complexity of a society in which we live, makes it difficult for young people the way to go in order to achieve human development achieved. The community, a sort of extended family for a time with a strong and dense mains
