The appointment is the result of happy marriage two occasions to meet: the presentation of the book "Andi & Rivieni" and a guided tasting of Cooperative Ditri extra virgin olive oils, olive oil from Umbria historical reality.

For the occasion there will be a preview of the "Moro di Trevi", the latest from the oils produced by the Cooperative: A single variety of Moraiolo, which advertises itself as a product of particular quality.

The unusual venue is the Library of the Ministry of Agriculture, a place little known to the public, which can be visited. Here are collected curiosities and rarities in the history of Italian agriculture.

History Cooperative Ditri

Ditri The cooperative was founded in 1962 by initiative of 16 farmers who joined with the intention to produce an olive oil of superior quality.
This clear desire by the founders was codified in a state in which members are required to deliver the olive producers in the same day of collection. The pressing immediate guarantees an olive oil with low acidity.
The first sixteen charter members of 1962 have demonstrated over time have taken the right path, after obtaining the trust of other producers who have joined the cooperative. Today
Cooperative Ditri has about 60 members who cultivate olive trees nearly a hundred thousand, almost half of all olive trees in the town of Trevi.
